I am so delighted that Monika and Kasia & Co have their input into "the blog", but I thought why not everyone else?

I miss you all, and want to find out what you're all up to ...

Monika showed Kasia how to do it, so maybe others can try?

I will have no interesting information for a while because I'm really sick [see earlier blog entry, Ela slows down].

But I'm well enough to read books and watch films (and the blog of course).

Last night we watched "Krzyżacy" (Crusaders) and now I know how King Jagiełło won the battle of Grunwald (by the way, this year we celebrate the 600 year anniversary of the event).

And then Jasia and I started chatting about Jadwiga, Jagiełło's wife. And Jasia took out a book from their enormous library, "Poczet polskich królowych i księżnych" (Poland's Queens and Wives of Kings). I'm really looking forward to reading it.

Monika will start looking up Grunwald and there will be an enormous picture painted by Jan Matejko ...

actually, i found this on a lovely blog (!) called "polish your Polish" about learning Polish ...
