(2) and then on Sunday morning, I was flipping through one of the colour magazines in the Sunday Age (sipping on the delicious coffee Paul made me), when I saw the following picture,

but in this photo [she looks like ellie, doesn't she?], she's wearing a "birdwing neckpiece" by Katherine...
I was sure when I saw it,

and finally (3) late on Sunday night, I watched Compass (website link), which was discussing Work, Later On, talking to people of "retirement age" who have decided not to ...
*an ex-university professor who has stopped her "head life" and is now exploring her "body life" by being a water aerobics instructor at the age of 80-something
**a teacher who works as part of a gardening co-op, looking after gardens for people who can't manage them any more, and !!! and
this was the exciting bit
this was the exciting bit***a man who is also 80 or so (I think) who works at Fairfield Train Station (link) and greets people and helps them with information and just makes the place friendly.
and this man is a true gentleman
